Job summary

Action Against Hunger USA in New York seeks an Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships to lead private foundation fundraising, manage a high-value portfolio, and guide the Institutional Development team's partnership pipeline.

You will align fundraising goals with program strategy, work with executive leadership and country teams, and drive seven- to eight-figure opportunities toward revenue growth while maintaining donor stewardship and rigorous reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree is desirable.
At least 10 years of progressively responsible fundraising experience with six-, seven-, and eight-figure grants.
Experience managing private foundation and corporate foundation partnerships.
Experience fundraising in international development or nonprofit sector preferred.

Responsibilities

Set fundraising goals and portfolio priorities for private foundations and corporate foundations.
Manage and steward major foundation partnerships, including large seven- and eight-figure opportunities.
Lead donor cultivation, solicitation, recognition, and stewardship strategies across the partnership lifecycle.
Oversee moves management, proposals, and external-facing materials with cross-functional teams.
Monitor portfolio and provide revenue forecasting, CRM data quality, and dashboards.
