Job summary

Morrison Express in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to actively develop new customers and manage freight forwarding accounts. You will drive revenue by acquiring new business and maintaining strong client relationships across air/ocean/domestic trucking services.

You will meet quarterly sales targets, present services to prospects, and coordinate with operations and marketing to optimize pricing and service delivery. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business or Marketing required.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience and/or 7 years minimum in a related field with a proven track record.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in freight forwarding operational skills.
• Strong ability to read, analyze and interpret business materials and regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to use CRM/Sales DB systems.

Responsibilities

• Actively seeks out and develops new customers with goal of two new accounts per month.
• Provides consistent interaction with existing customers.
• Adhere to and meet all required sales metrics.
• Manage sales territory coverage to support the business plan.
• Maintain and build account relationships.
• Communicate products, services, rates and policies to customers timely.
• Assist in obtaining credit information and collections as required.
• Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences.
• Maintain customer information and call reports in the Sales Data Base program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
