The role requires a track record in international freight forwarding, multimodal logistics, and strong client-facing skills to close key sales and develop strategic plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business qualifications.
• 5+ years of experience in international freight forwarding and contract logistics.
• Proven experience with closing international freight forwarding sales.
• Knowledge of Trans-Pacific trade lanes.
• Experience working with multi-modal transportation (Ocean, Air, Import, Export, TL, LTL).
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong business acumen with quick information assimilation.
• Excellent organization, analytical, written and oral communications.
• Proven management skills to drive growth and profitability.
• Proven track record in business development and leadership.
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial flair.
• Experience in semiconductor industry a plus.
• Ability to motivate people through collaboration.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee station operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to policies.
• Supervise and lead a team to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
• Monitor performance and implement process improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on sales strategies and campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Set stretch goals to continuously improve performance.
• Identify and solve problems with sustainable, strategic solutions.
• Oversee P&L for the district, manage expenses, and maximize profits.
• Undertake other duties assigned by management.
