Job summary

Bridgeway is a rapidly growing transportation company seeking a Customer Account Manager to act as the daily point of contact for our most important clients. You will oversee shipments, lead relationship development, and drive growth and customer satisfaction through strategic and operational leadership.

You will manage quotes, pricing strategies, and RFP responses while maintaining a strong book of business and ensuring profitability and service excellence across all accounts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in third-party logistics, freight brokerage or transportation account management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in CRM and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

Responsibilities

• Serve as daily point of contact and relationship manager for our top clients.
• Expand current accounts through ongoing relationship development.
• Maintain a core book of business for consistent and repeatable sales.
• Conduct daily customer calls to discuss shipments and opportunities for growth.
• Provide quick and efficient quotes, follow up on quotes, and upsell services.
• Drive operational excellence with timely and cost-effective transportation solutions.
• Assist sales and branch leadership in responding to RFPs for assigned and new accounts.
• Record conversations, quotes, and RFP activities in the CRM.
• Monitor revenue, load count, and gross profit to meet targets month over month.
