Job summary

Smartly, a global AdTech SaaS company in New York, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its Commercial Finance/FP&A team. You will link Finance with business units, delivering financial insight and decision support to drive growth and profitability.

The role requires 4–8 years in related finance fields; SaaS or agency experience is a plus. You will work with senior leaders, influence strategy, and help manage P&L, forecasts, and headcount planning.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Commercial Finance/FP&A/Consulting or PE/VC.
• SaaS or Agency experience is desirable.
• Strong analytical and modelling skills.
• Advanced Excel, SQL, large data models and performance frameworks.
• Experience in managing P&Ls, forecasts, and headcount plans.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic business partner to Leadership and department heads, delivering financial analyses and recommendations.
• Track, analyse, and forecast KPIs to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Lead quarterly forecasting and budget planning with Leadership and department heads.
• Support pricing, deal reviews, and investment cases through financial modelling.
• Drive process improvements across forecasting, reporting and business partnering.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Ops and Product teams.
