Job summary

Smartly.io seeks an experienced Finance Business Partner to join the Commercial Finance/FP&A team in Chicago. You will act as a strategic partner to leadership, delivering financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support to drive growth and profitability.

In this role you will track KPIs, lead quarterly planning, and influence pricing and investment decisions with robust modelling. A hybrid work model and exposure to senior stakeholders are key highlights.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Commercial Finance/FP&A/Consulting or Private Equity/VC.
• SaaS or Agency experience is desirable.
• Strong analytical and modelling skills; able to turn numbers into narrative.
• Strong communication to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly forecasting and budget planning with leadership.
• Support pricing, deal reviews and investment cases with robust modelling.
• Track, analyse and forecast key KPIs to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Ops and Product teams.
• Deliver financial insights and recommendations to drive growth and profitability.
