Job summary

Abaco Systems, a global leader and a unit of AMETEK, located in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to drive financial insights and strategic support for senior management.

You will lead FP&A, partner across Product Management, Operations and Engineering on NPI and CapEx, and oversee forecasting and corporate reporting to ensure alignment with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years FP&A experience in manufacturing or high-tech.
• 1–3 years formal management/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide FP&A leadership to Abaco’s senior leadership, delivering financial performance visibility.
• Lead annual budget cycle with structured engagement across the business.
• Develop monthly and quarterly forecasts with accuracy and timeliness.
• Deliver operating performance analyses and recommendations to improve results.
• Mentor the FP&A team and support corporate financial reporting needs.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Operations and Engineering on NPI and CapEx ROI.
• Support divisional and corporate objectives through reports and meetings.
• Develop and enforce financial policies and internal controls.
