Job summary

Shoptalk is seeking a Corporate FP&A Manager to lead the planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for the company’s fintech business in San Francisco. The role reports to the Head of FP&A and requires collaboration with business unit leads to deliver insightful variance commentary and strategic guidance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FP&A, strong modeling skills, and experience with Excel, Aleph, SQL and Tableau; familiarity with Pigment budgeting is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A experience in fintech or financial services.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with Aleph; SQL and Tableau preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to present to senior management.
• Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting/Economics; MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop and maintain financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to support scenarios.
• Coordinate FP&A process and variance commentary with finance leads and accounting.
• Analyze actual vs budget variances and present actionable insights to management.
• Partner with department heads to align financial needs with company goals.
• Prepare and present reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify and implement FP&A process improvements and automation.
• Manage the implementation of Pigment for budgeting.
