Job summary

Upgrade, Inc. is seeking a Corporate FP&A Manager in San Francisco to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. You will develop advanced financial models to support strategic initiatives and work with business leads to drive growth.

You will present insights to senior management, partner with marketing, operations, product and engineering, and implement FP&A automation including Pigment budgeting. A strong fintech/financial services background is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
• 5+ years in FP&A roles, preferably fintech/financial services.
• Expert in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Aleph; AI in forecasting/reporting helpful; Netsuite preferred.
• Experience with SQL and BI tools (Tableau) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Build and maintain P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow models for scenario planning.
• Coordinate FP&A processes, forecasting calendar, and variance commentary.
• Analyze actual vs budget variances, identifying drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with department heads to align financial needs with company goals.
• Prepare and present finance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and automation within FP&A; implement Pigment budgeting.
• Support senior leadership with actionable insights and strategic guidance.
