Job summary

Heartland Food Products Group seeks a strategic FP&A leader to drive financial planning, performance management, and decision support across its business portfolio. This role partners with executive leadership, sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain to accelerate profitable growth and improve visibility.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial rigor with CPG trade spend, margin management, and pricing insights. Reports to the President & CGO; office located in Carmel, Indiana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
• 8+ years progressive finance experience including FP&A leadership within a packaged goods, food & beverage, or consumer products company.
• Strong understanding of CPG financial drivers including trade spend, customer P&Ls, GTN, pricing, and promotions analysis.
• Experience with ERP, forecasting and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating plan (AOP), forecasting, long-range planning and monthly financial reviews.
• Partner with business leaders to drive growth, profitability initiatives and investment priorities.
• Deliver actionable financial insights to support strategic decisions.
• Drive financial discipline and accountability across functions.
