Job summary

Alight Solutions is seeking a seasoned Vice President of FP&A to lead the enterprise planning and financial analysis function. This role partners with the CFO, CEO, and executive leadership to deliver strategic financial plans, forecasting, and performance management across the organization.

You will shape forecasting, drive insights, and build robust, scalable FP&A processes and tools while mentoring a high-performing team and aligning finance with business strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide planning and forecasting in a large, complex organization.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, revenue models, margins, cash flow, and capital allocation.
• Ability to influence senior executives and translate complex financial data into clear recommendations.
• Proven experience in large-scale financial modeling, strategic planning, investment analysis, and performance management.
• Proven people leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, judgment, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with planning and reporting systems, BI tools, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Corporate FP&A function, including annual planning, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, and management reporting.
• Oversee internal and external financial reporting and analysis for boards and executives.
• Partner with senior leadership to translate business strategy into plans, targets, and outcomes.
• Build and retain a high-performing FP&A team with strong analytical capabilities and executive presence.
• Oversee investor relations and coordinate with IR vendors and earnings communications.
• Own the company-wide forecast process covering revenue, expenses, margin, cash flow and key metrics.
• Represent finance to CIO and technology leadership for financials of technology initiatives.
• Develop executive-level reporting and scorecards highlighting performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure finance systems (Workday, Adaptive Insights) are optimized and data is consistent across reporting.
