Job summary

Alvaria is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead company-wide planning, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role partners with senior leadership to drive EBITDA expansion, cash discipline, and working capital efficiency.

You will own the AOP, long-range plan, and rolling forecasts, building driver-based models and providing actionable insights to executives and board sponsors. You will govern monthly close, manage a high-performing team of analysts, and administer Planful end-to-end,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience in B2B SaaS.
• 3+ years managing and developing talent.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and proficiency with EBITDA, cash flow, working capital metrics.
• Advanced Excel skills and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), long-range plan, and rolling forecasts with scenario analyses.
• Build and maintain driver-based models for revenue, gross margin, opex, headcount, and cash flow.
• Lead consolidation of monthly close and forecast reporting packages with KPI dashboards and insights for executives, board, and sponsors.
• Partner with Accounting on accruals and adjustments to ensure GAAP accuracy and close-to-forecast linkage.
• Partner with functional leaders to optimize opex and headcount, track investments versus returns, and drive productivity initiatives.
• Establish operating rhythms for budget tracking, approvals, and variance remediation; own cash forecasting inputs for working capital and liquidity.
• Own and administer the Planful platform end to end: model design, governance, user provisioning, reports, and integrations.
• Define and automate operational and performance metrics; drive self-serve reporting and reduce manual reconciliation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
