Job summary

Confluent seeks a Director of FP&A to lead corporate financial planning and analysis, partnering with the CFO and SLT to drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. You will own reporting, KPI metrics, and strategic finance projects across the organization.

You will lead the FP&A team, deliver executive-ready analysis, and partner with IT, operations, and commercial leaders to enable data-driven decisions and cost management across units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance.
• 10+ years FP&A or operational finance leadership.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
• Executive presence and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the corporate FP&A calendar and operating rhythm.
• Lead annual budget process with guidance, timelines, tools and templates.
• Lead monthly and 12-month rolling forecast with cross-functional teams.
• Develop short- and long-range planning models with the CFO and SLT.
• Prepare monthly reporting package with KPI analysis and commentary.
• Administer planning tools like Adaptive Planning and Epicor.
• Own BI reporting with Power BI and Domo for stakeholders.
• Lead M&A due diligence and integration planning.
• Develop Board and Senior Leadership materials.
