Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Sr. Principal Financial Analyst to lead the program’s EAC and profitability processes for the Strategic C3 Business Unit.

This fast-paced onsite role requires deep experience with EVMS, FAR/DFARS, and cross-functional collaboration to drive financial performance. The position involves forecasting, cash flow analysis, invoicing/collections oversight, LRSP/AOP support, mentoring analysts, and presenting insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related field.
• Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Clearance within a reasonable period.
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, IBM Cognos software, COBRA.
• Data and/or financial analysis experience.
• Knowledge of EVMS/FAR/DFARS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prepare the program’s EAC/profitability process with leadership.
• Lead monthly financial forecasting and reporting processes; develop financial sensitivities.
• Support review, analysis, and management of invoicing and collections.
• Lead and support LRSP and AOP development and financial modeling.
• Mentor and train other analysts; develop efficiencies.
• Prepare weekly/monthly analytical reports for cost variance/trend analyses.
• Develop cross-functional strategies to improve financial performance.
• Prepare presentations for leadership and briefings at various levels.
• Support SOX compliance requirements.
• Use financial systems with DoD rhythms.
• Provide strategic guidance and implement solutions of moderate scope.
