Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal Financial Analyst (Level 3) or Sr. Principal Financial Analyst (Level 4) to join our Melbourne, FL team, on-site daily.

Responsibilities include managing program financials, forecasts, variance analysis, and supporting strategic planning and leadership presentations. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's/master’s/PhD with finance experience and be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of Finance, Accounting, and/or Business-related experience
• Master’s degree with 3 years of Finance, Accounting, and/or Business-related experience or a PhD with 1 year of Finance, Accounting, and/or Business-related experience
• Experience with SAP, IBM Cognos software, COBRA
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Expertise in financial analysis
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

Responsibilities

• Manage program financials, including monthly forecasts, reporting and analysis
• Prepare weekly/monthly analytical reports to support cost variance/trend analysis
• Support development of Long Range Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial performance using metrics
• Assist in leadership presentations and SOX compliance
