Job summary

Flourish, a NYC-based fintech backed by MassMutual, is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. You will own the planning process from day one, partner with CFO, CEO, CRO, and cross-functional teams to deliver forward-looking financial models and strategic insights during a critical growth phase.

Your role includes building an integrated model, leading budgeting and forecasting, and delivering BI-ready dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant FP&A experience owning budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.
• Financial services, fintech, or PE-backed environment experience strongly preferred.
• Fingerprint background check to qualify as fingerprinted person under FINRA; regulatory screenings may apply.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the company’s integrated financial model and forward-looking forecasts.
• Lead the annual budget, forecasting, and reforecasting processes, including monthly budget-vs-actual variance analysis.
• Prepare board, investor, and leadership reporting packages.
• Partner with business teams on performance analysis and support go-to-market and product analytics.
• Partner with our PE sponsor on reporting and ad hoc analysis needs.
• Partner with the Controller to ensure forecasts and management reporting tie to the accounting records.
• Develop dashboards and business intelligence reporting.
• Use AI tools to automate reporting, modeling, and analysis, and continually improve FP&A efficiency.
• Provide ad hoc analysis for strategic initiatives.
