Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks an Associate Director, FP&A for the North America Residential Solutions HVAC business to lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for the $6B+ unit.

This role partners with Sales, Inventory, Operations and Product Management to align demand with financial targets, presents to senior leadership, and guides a three-person finance team in a fast-paced environment emphasizing accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years FP&A experience in multi-site manufacturing or HVAC environment.
• 5+ years partnering with 3+ core operational teams (Supply Chain, Operations, Product Management).
• 5+ years knowledge of US GAAP, reporting requirements, financial analysis techniques, budgeting/forecasting processes.
• 5+ years of analytical and spreadsheet development experience, with Excel proficiency and financial systems know-how.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly consolidation, analysis, and reporting for the $6B+ NARS business unit.
• Explain monthly variances against plan, prior estimates, and prior-year performance.
• Lead the annual business and long-range planning in partnership with Strategy.
• Develop and enhance financial models for A/R, A/P, inventory, and P&L.
• Present closing and forecasting results to senior leadership and support executive reviews.
• Coordinate SIOP alignment with Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning.
• Drive working capital optimization and continuous improvement in processes.
