Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks an Associate Director, FP&A for the North America Residential Solutions HVAC business. You will own budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning for the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.

You will lead a three-person finance team, collaborate with Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning, and present insights to senior leadership to drive strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required.
• 5+ years of FP&A experience in multi-site manufacturing or HVAC.
• 5+ years partnering with at least 3 core operational teams to align metrics with targets.
• 5+ years of knowledge of US GAAP and budgeting/forecasting processes.
• 5+ years of analytical and spreadsheet development experience; familiarity with financial consolidation systems (HFM preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of monthly actuals and forecasting for the $6B+ NARS business unit.
• Explain monthly and forecast variances with sub-businesses; compare to plan and prior year.
• Develop annual and long-range plans with the Strategy team; drive process improvements.
• Build and enhance financial models for A/R, A/P, inventory, and P&L accounts.
• Present closing/forecasting results to senior leadership to enable informed decisions.
• Provide ad hoc analyses requested by executive leadership.
• Coordinate with SIOP to align demand with financial targets and working capital goals.
• Drive working capital optimization in A/R and inventory.
