Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Controller to act as a co-pilot for business unit managers, ensuring transparency on performance and driving improvement initiatives across divisions. The role includes supporting transformation efforts and strengthening the performance management framework.

The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, with CPA or Master’s in Finance/Accounting preferred, and 2+ years in public accounting or FP&A. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting and/or Finance is required.
• Preference for CPA or Master’s in Finance or Accounting.
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting or FP&A is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide insights on key performance metrics with business units.
• Structure and drive group-wide improvement initiatives.
• Support transformation journeys towards higher autonomy.
• Lead projects to develop and refine organizational structures.
• Drive Divisional Strategy and Performance Cycle.
• Coordinate divisional performance reviews and annual planning.
• Lead special task forces to address key challenges and opportunities.
• Drive regular strategy review process with corporate strategy.
