Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Finance leader to oversee FP&A for a defined business line, driving analysis and planning to support strategic decisions. You will collaborate with line leaders to improve financial performance and provide actionable insights.

The role requires managing budgeting and forecasting, monitoring variances, and leading FP&A activities, with an emphasis on cross-functional partnership and profitability improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; focus in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Six or more years of finance experience required.
• Experience in a professional services firm such as accounting, financial services, or consulting preferred.
• Prior managerial experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel; experience with financial systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leverages technology to research, compile and analyze financial information, both standard and ad hoc.
• Monitors and analyzes financial performance against budgets/forecasts.
• Researches and determines causes of budget variances and communicates to leaders.
• Leads budget, forecast, and long-term planning processes with business line leaders.
• Provides FP&A training and departs best practices to end users to improve processes.
