Job summary

Discord is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Finance team in San Francisco. You will own forecasting, build strategic financial models, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive budgeting, financial planning, and decision-making for the company.

Responsibilities include maintaining planning tools, supporting equity programs, and applying AI to improve efficiency across core finance processes while communicating insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or high-growth tech FP&A with heavy financial-modeling ownership.
• Excellent Excel modeling from scratch with clean formulas, audit trails and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, working exceptionally well with partners across the business.

Responsibilities

• Drive internal forecasting and reporting for monthly and long-range horizons.
• Build strategic financial models to inform high-stakes initiatives and projects.
• Support cross-functional budgeting, forecasting and decision-making across teams like Total Rewards, Legal and Accounting.
• Leverage generative AI and analytics to accelerate modeling, improve processes and streamline reporting.
