Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team. The role offers exposure to the full business and reports to the Finance manager with opportunities for mentorship and growth.

Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, data analysis, and partnering with leadership to drive proactive improvements. Travel approx. 25% to support division locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years accounting or finance experience in progressive roles.
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong business acumen with analytical/problem solving skills.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data and maintain accuracy.
• Self-motivated with initiative and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial/operational reports and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Collect, analyze and interpret data to quantify financial opportunity and risk.
• Perform root cause analysis and partner with leadership to drive solutions.
• Develop financial analysis tools to aid management decisions.
• Lead or participate in business initiatives and special projects.
• Support annual operating plans and divisional budgets.
