Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the PFS Corporate Finance team. You will oversee the Capital Expenditure process and provide financial support to the Specialty Meat Processing and Beverage/Chemical groups, collaborating with OpCo's and Corporate leaders.

You will forecast, budget, and perform ad hoc financial analysis, leveraging strong data skills and a business-focused mindset to enable leadership decisions and drive improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2 years accounting or finance experience in progressive roles.
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Business acumen with analytical/problem solving skills.
• Ability to work with large amounts of computer data.
• Ability to take ownership and be accountability.
• Highly organized, detail orientated and capable of multi-tasking.
• Self-motivated with initiative and ability to work independently.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis for the Specialty Region President.
• Provide financial support to plants including budgeting and ad hoc analysis.
• Oversee capital expenditure processes, forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Collaborate across Field Finance, Accounting, OpCo's, and IT.
• Lead or participate in special projects and process improvements.
• Develop financial analysis tools to aid management decisions.
• Mentor and train junior staff and contribute to talent development.
