Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Senior Finance Manager in Augusta, ME to lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and close processes. You will partner with senior leadership to translate operations into financial insights and drive profitability.

You will oversee monthly closes, reporting, and risk management while guiding teams across accounting, IT, and commercial functions to enable data-driven decisions and sustained growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years in finance/accounting with FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• 5+ years leadership experience managing teams and change.
• Experience leading budgeting, AOP, long-range planning and monthly close.
• GAAP knowledge, internal controls, and SOX experience.
• Proven strategic partner to executives; strong communication.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Power BI; advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to travel to support regional ops as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close processes.
• Deliver timely financial reporting, analysis, and performance metrics.
• Conduct business reviews with executives, outlining risks and opportunities.
• Lead customer profitability analyses and strategic evaluations.
• Manage internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit ownership.
• Mentor Accounting, Bid/Contract and IT teams for growth.
• Drive process improvements and technology-enabled solutions.
