Job summary

Morningstar Credit Ratings, LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with the IT function in Corporate FP&A. Based in Chicago, you will lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, analyze results, and drive value creation with ad hoc projects.

This role reports to the Director of Corporate FP&A and involves collaboration with CTO and regional teams. You will work four days per week in the Chicago office, contribute to KPI tracking, and support cost optimization initiatives while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/CPA/CFA a plus.
• 2–4 years of corporate finance or business partnership/analysis experience.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Oracle/Hyperion, Workday, Tableau or PowerBI preferred.
• Analytical thinker with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Support long-term planning and provide value-driven insights.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to optimize cost structures and forecast accuracy.
• Leverage AI tools and BI teams to improve efficiency and generate insights.
