Morningstar’s Corporate FP&A team supports strategic initiatives and long-term financial health. The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with Information Technology leadership to manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and value creation across IT functions in a global context.
Based in Chicago, the role collaborates with CTO and senior stakeholders, leads planning cycles, and drives efficiency using AI and BI tools while aligning with Morningstar’s corporate FP&A standards.
Morningstar’s Corporate Finance team plays an essential role in supporting our company’s strategic initiatives, day-to-day operations, and long-term financial health and growth. Our Corporate FP&A team is responsible for planning, forecasting, and analyzing the company’s financial results. The team works collaboratively with our executive and senior leaders, business finance partners, and international teams to support our strategy and growth initiatives and help make informed business decisions.
As a Senior Financial Analyst Corporate FP&A, you will be the primary finance partner for Morningstar’s Information Technology function. This will require close collaboration with the CTO and other senior stakeholders across Corporate Systems, Employee Support, Infrastructure, and Information Security. You will lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, analyze and report results, collaborate with long-term planning, and drive value creation with ad hoc support for special projects and initiatives.
This position reports into the Director of Corporate FP&A and is based in our Chicago office (4 days per week in office is expected).
