Job summary

Highspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team in a hybrid role in Birmingham, AL. The position offers exposure to executive leadership, business operations, and strategic decision-making while contributing to forecasting, reporting, and process improvements.

The role requires 1–3 years in finance or FP&A, strong analytical skills, and advanced Excel ability. You will partner with leaders to drive performance, develop dashboards, and support KPI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance, FP&A, or business analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Experience with data modeling, reporting, and BI tools preferred.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models, forecasts, and KPI reporting to support business decisions.
• Analyze P&L performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights.
• Conduct trend, profitability, and sensitivity analyses.
• Partner with operational and finance leaders to improve business performance.
• Create and enhance reporting, dashboards, and automation tools.
• Support executive presentations and ad hoc projects.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive reporting efficiencies.
