Job summary

FIRY is seeking an FP&A Analyst to help shape forecasts, reporting and insights as the company scales. You’ll own forecast updates for assigned areas, analyze results, and build monthly reporting packages while driving variance analysis during close cycles.

You’ll maintain financial models, test inputs, and contribute to annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts, ensuring accuracy, traceability and scalable processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related quantitative field.
• 1+ year of FP&A, accounting, corporate finance, consulting or related analytical role (internships count).
• Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting principles.
• Strong Excel skills (or similar financial modeling tools).
• Hands-on experience with financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with financial systems or similar tools is a plus.
• Experience with SQL or other data querying tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own forecast preparation and updates for assigned accounts or business areas, delivering accurate results on time.
• Analyze financial results and variances, uncover key drivers, and share actionable insights with finance leadership and business partners.
• Build recurring monthly reporting packages and drive variance analysis during close cycles.
• Maintain portions of our financial models, keeping them accurate, reliable and easy to follow.
• Test inputs and assumptions behind forecasts and budgets, catching inconsistencies and risks early.
• Play a key role in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting through data consolidation and analysis.
• Track forecast risks and opportunities in your areas and raise them quickly.
• Improve financial models, reporting and processes to make FP&A more efficient and scalable.
• Document financial processes and build clear supporting analyses so work stays accurate and traceable.
