Job summary

PhxPhxProConnect in South Florida is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join a fast-growing team. You will assist in presenting financial and operational results, and collaborate on ad-hoc analyses to drive insights.

You will develop and maintain the financial planning system for budgeting and forecasting, support month-end close variances, and automate reporting to improve team productivity. A strong finance background is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred.
• FP&A designation preferred or in progress; other certifications a plus.
• 5–7 years of experience with QuickBooks Enterprise or similar accounting packages.
• Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives.
• Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting.
• Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data.

Responsibilities

• Assist with presentations of financial and operational results.
• Collaborate with peers on ad-hoc analysis.
• Drive standardization and automation of reporting.
• Develop and maintain the financial planning system for budgeting/forecasting and reporting.
• Assist with end-of-month close variance review (forecast vs actual).
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
• Increase finance team productivity by developing automated accounting applications.
• Assist with month-end close process, as needed.
• Provide other financial and operational analysis as needed.
