Job summary

Staffing Fish is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst in the greater Phoenix area to own financial planning and analysis across multiple units. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting, partnering with operations to turn data into decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FP&A within PE-backed or construction/manufacturing environments, advanced Excel, and Power BI skills, plus strong communication with executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years FP&A experience in multi-entity, PE-backed, or construction/manufacturing setting.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex modeling, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Power BI proficiency to build reports and dashboards from the ground up.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex financial data to executive stakeholders.
• Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (Sage 100, Sage Intacct, or similar) preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL or Power Query preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly variance analyses across multiple entities/locations.
• Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, capital allocation, and acquisitions.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel-based reporting for executive leadership.
• Partner with operations, accounting, and plant leadership to analyze financial data.
• Drive standardization and automation of financial reporting across acquired entities.
• Identify and communicate key business trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial analysis and reporting.
• Mentor and develop junior analysts as the team grows.
• Support due diligence and integration analyses for future acquisitions.
