Job summary

Intel Corporation in the US is seeking a Strategic/Development Industrial Engineer to drive capacity optimization and manufacturing efficiency. You will analyze data, forecast capacity needs, and design solutions to reduce costs while meeting quality standards.

You will join the Foundry Capacity Optimization team, collaborating across manufacturing, technology development, and finance. You will develop long-term capacity strategies, communicate with leadership, and help implement scalable

Qualifications

Bachelors in industrial/ Manufacturing/ Operations research or related field with 4+ years experience or advanced degree with fewer years.
4+ years in manufacturing systems design, process optimization, and data analysis.
Experience with simulation and statistical analysis tools; strong Excel analytics.
Programming or data visualization skills such as Python, R, SQL, or Power BI.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute long-term capacity strategies aligned with product roadmaps and demand variability.
Analyze operational data to identify risks, opportunities, and present recommendations to senior leaders.
Optimize equipment schedules, layouts, and procurement to meet cost, quality, and technical requirements.
Design production capacity models, layouts, and data systems to improve factory performance and quality.
Forecast build plans and facility designs to align with evolving business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create execution plans supporting organizational goals.
Monitor toolset performance and ensure alignment with network strategy and objectives.
