Job summary

Langan seeks an Environmental Practice Lead in Florida to direct and grow our environmental compliance and EHS services across the state. You will lead projects, mentor staff, and collaborate with our national compliance team to deliver high‑quality solutions for manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related field; Master's preferred.
• 12+ years in environmental field with 5+ years as a PM in consulting.
• Professional certification preferred (e.g.: PE, CHMM, CSP, CIH).
• Knowledge of Federal and Florida environmental regulations; industrial health and safety knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to engage in BD: meet conferences, grow Florida leadership, cross-sell services.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage environmental compliance projects from start to finish, including proposals, oversight, and budgeting.
• Prepare and submit deliverables under air, wastewater, stormwater, SPCC, EPCRA, etc.
• Develop permitting/regulatory strategy for industrial projects with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Serve as senior technical SME for EHS and compliance services; conduct audits and reviews.
• Lead and mentor environmental staff, including hiring and coaching.
• Manage project financials and team utilization; handle invoicing and payments.
