Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services seeks a Regional Practice Lead – Florida to direct environmental compliance projects and grow EHS services across the state. You will lead technical strategy, coordinate with Florida leadership, and guide a regional team on complex regulatory challenges.

You will serve as a senior SME, oversee multi-disciplinary teams, and develop new client relationships, contributing to national compliance practice growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related field; Master’s preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in the environmental field with 5+ years as a consulting project manager.
• Professional certification preferred (PE, CHMM, CSP, CIH).
• Knowledge of Federal and Florida environmental regulations; safety knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to engage in business development and cross-sell services across Florida and nationally.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus; ability to manage multiple clients, projects and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage environmental compliance projects from start to finish, including proposals and financials.
• Oversee deliverables under air, wastewater, stormwater, SPCC, EPCRA, and related programs.
• Develop regulatory strategy for industrial development projects within a multidisciplinary team.
• Act as senior SME for EHS and compliance, including audits and permit negotiations.
• Lead and mentor environmental compliance staff across local and national projects.
• Drive business development and expand client relationships within Florida and nationwide.
