Job summary

Langan provides expert land development engineering and environmental services across the U.S. We are seeking an Environmental Practice Lead in Florida to lead and grow the environmental compliance/EHS practice from Tampa and other Florida offices.

You will serve as a senior technical resource, manage a diverse portfolio, lead project teams, and collaborate with national experts to deliver compliant, innovative solutions for clients in manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related field.
• 12+ years in environmental field with PM experience in a consulting environment (minimum 5 years).
• Professional certification preferred (PE, CHMM, CSP, CIH).
• Knowledge of Federal and Florida environmental regulations; HSE knowledge a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus; strong BD capabilities expected.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, projects and staff across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage environmental compliance projects from start to finish.
• Develop regulatory strategies for industrial development projects with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Serve as senior SME for EHS and compliance services; review deliverables.
• Lead and develop an environmental compliance team; coach and motivate staff.
• Oversee proposals, change orders, invoicing, and staff utilization.
• Identify new client opportunities and expand Florida and national work.
• Collaborate with Florida leadership and national practice groups.
• Coordinate work across office locations and disciplines; liaise with regulators and clients.
