Job summary

Mannington Mills, Inc. in Calhoun, GA is seeking an experienced Sales Associate to grow our regional flooring business. You will call on architects, designers, contractors and end users to specify products that fit design criteria, budget and schedule.

Travel daily within your territory, manage the customer base in CRM, and meet sales forecasts while protecting company assets. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in business or marketing, 4+ years of sales experience, strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of sales related experience required
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and experience with CRM - Dynamics is preferred
• Industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Commercial flooring experience preferred, or commercial interiors or finishes.

Responsibilities

• Identify profitable sales opportunities and maintain responsiveness to customer needs.
• Understand the product line and the application each product serves.
• Formulate a strategic plan to produce forecasted sales revenue in the assigned territory.
• Demonstrate care and effective usage of company property and tools.
• Meet individual sales forecasts and operate within travel/expense budget.
• Travel daily throughout the assigned area to call on customers and prospect new business.
• Manage customer base through CRM (Salesforce.com) and keep data current.
• Maintain CRM with all pertinent customer/project/product/pricing information.
• Develop proposals by understanding market pricing strategies and available contracts.
