Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a senior procurement professional to oversee the full lifecycle of fleet acquisitions for its commercial fleet. The role requires developing budgets, negotiating with leasing providers and OEMs, and standardizing vehicle specifications in partnership with leadership and safety teams.

You will monitor costs, ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and drive data-driven decisions to optimize asset performance and ROI across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and monitor the annual fleet procurement budget.
• Track expenditures and implement cost-control measures to optimize vehicle acquisition and fleet investment.
• Lead development and standardization of vehicle specifications with leadership, fleet management, operations, and safety teams.
• Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships with leasing providers, OEMs, upfitters and other key suppliers.
• Lead negotiations for vehicle leases, purchases, and related fleet services with leasing companies and OEM suppliers.
• Ensure fleet procurement activities comply with policies, financial controls, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
• Direct fleet asset life cycle from acquisition to disposal and develop long-term fleet strategies.
• Analyze fleet utilization and costs, lead quarterly performance reviews, and drive data-driven planning.
