Job summary

Amgen is seeking a strategic Fleet Operations Associate Director to steer the enterprise fleet program for US field mobility. You will shape strategy, oversee vendor relationships, and drive performance across safety, costs, and service quality.

You will lead a cross-functional team, set KPIs, manage budgets, and partner with senior leaders to implement ongoing improvements in a complex operating environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree with 5+ years in logistics, fleet ops, or related field in regulated industries.
• Experience leading large, vendor-supported fleet programs with governance responsibility.
• Strong financials, budgets, and total cost of ownership understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern multi-year fleet strategy aligned with field needs.
• Lead Fleet Operations team and manage vendor relationships & KPIs.
• Own fleet program budget, forecasts, and investments.
• Ensure safety, risk, insurance, and compliance across fleet operations.
• Provide analytics, executive reporting, and data-driven recommendations.
