Qualifications

• Four-year degree, preferably in Transportation and Logistics or related field.
• Proficient with computer applications and keyboard use.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress.
• Strong planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills; courteous yet assertive telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Review driver check calls to estimate location and delivery times.
• Receive and review load assignments for appropriateness.
• Dispatch loads with instructions, routing, and fuel details.
• Call customers to gather directions and schedule loading/delivery.
• Notify Customer Service of issues impacting expectations or loads.
• Promote safety and adhere to drivers hours of availability.
• Focus on driver retention by understanding needs and performance.
• Identify and resolve performance issues via driver evaluations.
• Resolve driver conflicts regarding home time, pay, equipment, or loads.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain driver records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
