Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Reno, NV is seeking a Fleet Services Leader to oversee the performance of the fleet services function, focusing on servicing, damage repair, and in-fleeting/de-fleeting of rental vehicles.

You will manage maintenance, repairs, and vendor relationships, drive KPIs for technician productivity and service levels, and lead a high-performance team on-site. The role requires strong financial acumen, HR leadership, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years management experience in rental car or service industry.
• High School diploma required; 2–4 year college degree preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on-site.
• Must have valid driver’s license and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maximize fleet utilization and profitability by directing maintenance, repair, and reconditioning.
• Oversee in-fleeting and de-fleeting of vehicles.
• Manage team performance and set/monitor KPIs.
• Coordinate vendor management and repairs, including parts and tools.
• Ensure safety policies and HR practices are followed.
• Partner with Fleet owners and managers to prioritize workload.
