Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Fleet Services Leader in Reno, NV to optimize fleet utilization and profitability. You’ll oversee in-fleeting and de-fleeting, maintenance, and repairs, while guiding a team to meet service and financial KPIs in alignment with company guidelines.

The role requires 5+ years in management within rental car or automotive services, with strong forecasting, budgeting, and vendor-management skills. On-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; 2-4 year degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in rental car/auto/service.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, nights, or weekends.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and supervise multiple work areas.
• On-site presence required; cannot be performed remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and communicates operating plans to maximize fleet utilization to guidelines.
• Directs maintenance, repair and reconditioning of fleet vehicles and in-fleeting/de-fleeting activities.
• Monitors KPI performance for service, damage, in-fleet and deletion with goals updates.
• Forecasts, budgets and manages key financial drivers including S&W per day and cost per deletion.
• Coordinates automotive damage appraisals/repairs and procurement of parts and tools.
• Oversees vendor relationships and workload, ensuring service levels and policy adherence.
• Collaborates with Fleet owners, District/City Managers and External Partners to prioritise workload.
• Manages all facets of employee lifecycle to enable a high performance culture.
