Qualifications

• High School diploma required; 2-4 year college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years management experience in related field (rental car, automotive shop or service oriented field).
• Prior experience writing damage estimates is preferable.
• Valid driver's license and successful background check.
• Ability to work flexible schedules in a fast-paced environment that may include early morning, nights, or weekends.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and oversee multiple work areas.
• Organizational and forecasting skills; financial acumen; talent management and delegation.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills; negotiation and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and communicates operating plans to maximize fleet utilization and direct damage repair.
• Manages team performance against plan by setting, communicating, monitoring and updating goals for KPIs on damage.
• Assesses damage area daily to prioritize repair and salvage; communicates work to team.
• Ensures all repair orders are completed and processed per guidelines.
• Determine damage repair estimated labor hours and source optimal repair parts.
• Minimizes damage estimate, body shop and on-lot repair cycle time.
• Conducts monthly damage writer reviews and audits.
• Forecasts, budgets and manages key financial drivers including cost of repair.
• Oversees body shop relationships, rates, audits and vendor management policies.
• Oversees damage repair of all busses at bussing locations.
• Manages employee lifecycle and performance management for a high performing culture.
• Manages employee relations and HR policy implementation with HRBP support.
• Provides a safe work environment by following safety policies.
• May be required to perform additional duties as directed.
