Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in San Diego to drive fleet damage repair performance and profitability. You will lead a team, set goals, and manage budgets while coordinating with body shops and vendors to ensure timely, quality repairs.

The role requires strong leadership, forecasting, and negotiation skills, with a focus on safety, process adherence, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize fleet availability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in rental car, automotive shop or service field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and background check.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work flexible schedules.
• Strong forecasting and budgeting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and communicates operating plans to maximize fleet utilization and directs damage repair of fleet vehicles.
• Manages team performance against KPIs for damage, including cost per estimate and vendor management.
• Assesses daily damage area to prioritize vehicles for repair or salvage; communicates work to teams.
• Forecasts, budgets and manages key financial drivers including cost of repair.
• Negotiates body shop rates and maintains vendor relationships; oversees safety and compliance.
