Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Las Vegas, NV seeks an Auto Body Damage Manager to lead the fleet services function for vehicle damage repair, in-fleeting/de-fleeting, and overall fleet utilization. You will drive operational excellence, lead a high-performing team, and ensure safety, efficiency, and accountability across damage operations.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor management skills, with a focus on cost control, process improvement, and safe, efficient repair workflows

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; 2–4 year college degree preferred (or equivalent in education, training or experience).
• Minimum of 2 years management experience in related fields (rental car, auto shop or service oriented).
• Prior experience writing damage estimates preferable.
• Valid driver’s license and successful background check.
• Ability to work flexible schedules (early morning, nights, weekends).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and oversee multiple work areas.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Financial acumen and forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and communicates operating plans to maximize fleet utilization and controls vehicle damage repair.
• Manages team performance against goals and key performance indicators.
• Prioritizes vehicles for repair and communicates work to team members.
• Ensures repair orders are completed per guidelines and manages parts sourcing.
• Forecasts and manages budgets and cost of repair as key drivers.
• Maintains vendor relationships and conducts audits to ensure service levels.
