Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking an Operations Manager to develop and implement operating plans to maximize fleet utilization, directing the vehicle damage repair of the fleet in line with company guidelines.

You will lead a team, set and monitor goals, manage vendor relationships and repair workloads, control costs, ensure accurate repair orders, safety, and on-time repairs while fostering a high-performance culture. The annual starting salary is between $65,000 and $68,000.

Qualifications

• Management experience in rental car, automotive shop or service field.
• Experience with damage estimation or body shop processes preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Financial acumen and forecasting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and communicates operating plans to maximize fleet utilization and direct vehicle damage repair.
• Manages team performance against KPIs and business plan.
• Prioritizes damage and salvage work and coordinates with team members.
• Ensures repair orders are completed per guidelines and vendor processes.
• Maintains vendor insurance files and manages body shop relationships and audits.
• Forecasts budgets and manages key financial drivers like repair costs.
• Oversees employee lifecycle and maintains a safe work environment.
