Job summary

MACC seeks an Operations Manager – Fleet & Facilities to lead strategic and operational efforts across all locations. You will establish SOPs, drive efficiency, and manage budgets, vendors, and a facilities/fleet team to ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will collaborate with PMO, IT, Finance, and Program Leadership to support growth, optimize vehicle usage, and deliver high-quality services across the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a related degree preferred.
• Five or more years in fleet, facilities, operations, logistics or related management.
• Three or more years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience managing multi-site operations and coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Working knowledge of fleet management, vehicle maintenance, and facilities operations.
• Exposure to fleet management, GPS, work order, and asset management software preferred.
• Strong understanding of vehicle registration, insurance, regulatory compliance.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Valid California driver's license with clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Experience with project management, process improvement, and SOP development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement short- and long-term operational strategies for Fleet and Facilities, including KPIs and annual work plans.
• Oversee day-to-day fleet operations: vehicle assignments, maintenance, inspections, registrations, insurance, fuel cards, GPS, and records.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, vehicle repairs with vendors, ensuring safe and reliable vehicles.
• Monitor fleet utilization, costs, downtime, and advise on replacements or acquisitions.
• Lead lifecycle management of fleet, facilities, and assets including replacement planning and inventories.
• Manage vendor relationships: bids, RFPs, performance, and contractual compliance.
• Recruit, supervise, mentor, and develop Fleet and Facilities staff.
• Oversee fleet management, work order, GPS, and asset systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate expansion, renovations, relocations with other departments for new sites.
• Travel regularly to offices, sites, and vendor locations for inspections and project support.
• Promote and enforce a robust safety culture; SOPs and OSHA/DOT compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for Fleet and Facilities operational issues across MACC locations.
