New Orleans Public Facility Mngt, Inc. seeks an experienced finance leader to develop and maintain internal controls and ensure timely financial reporting. You will manage month-end close, audits, and statutory filings while ensuring GAAP/GASB compliance.

The role involves collaboration across the Financial Services Division, budgeting, forecasting, and resolving complex accounting issues, with a focus on accuracy and process improvements. Strong supervisory skills are required.

Formación

• Three years' supervisory experience.
• Experience in governmental accounting and financial reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, or equivalent experience; CPA/CGMA preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures for timely reporting.
• Lead month-end, year-end, and audit processes with consolidated statements and notes.
• Ensure GL transactions comply with GASB/GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Financial Services to support department goals and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Support budgeting/forecasting and analytical reporting of actuals vs. budgets.
• Communicate policies to staff and monitor discipline and performance.
