Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the property's accounting functions and monthly close. You will ensure accurate reconciliations, GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and strong internal controls while guiding a professional accounting team.

Responsibilities include managing the close process, preparing statements, collaborating with leadership and corporate finance, and safeguarding assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Five+ years of related experience in accounting management, preferably in real estate.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
• Proven leadership and team-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate completion.
• Manage account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Maintain and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; provide feedback.
• Collaborate with property leadership and corporate finance on policies.
• Ensure financial data is complete, accurate, and timely.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency in reporting.
