Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a seasoned Financial Reporting & Analysis Manager to lead Medicare Supplement accounting, reporting, and controllership activities. You will partner with Finance, Actuarial, Operations, and business leaders to ensure accurate financial results and a strong control environment.

In this role, you will drive month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, develop robust reporting processes, and explore automation and data analytics to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting, controllership, financial reporting, or financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial close processes.
• Experience managing complex accounting and reporting activities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and effectively partner across Finance, Actuarial, Operations, and business organizations.

Responsibilities

• Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for the Medicare Supplement business.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reporting processes, controls, and documentation.
• Assist with special projects related to system implementations, reporting enhancements, and process redesign.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation, data analytics, and technology solutions.
• Mentor and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
