You will partner with Finance, Actuarial, Operations, and business leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and ongoing process improvement.

The role emphasizes leadership, automation, and data analytics in a fast-paced healthcare setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality financial insights and operating efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting, controllership, financial reporting, or analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and close processes.
• Experience managing complex accounting and reporting in deadline-driven environments.
• Solid understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Ability to partner with Finance, Actuarial, Operations, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Month-, quarter-, and year-end closes for Medicare Supplement.
• Develop, maintain, and improve financial reporting processes, controls, and documentation.
• Assist with system implementations, reporting enhancements, and process redesign.
• Identify opportunities to streamline through automation and analytics.
• Mentor and develop team members and foster accountability and collaboration.
