Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting, controllership, financial reporting, or analysis.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and close processes expertise.
• Experience with complex accounting and reporting under deadlines.
• Experience with internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis ability.
• Ability to build cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close for Medicare Supplement business.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting processes, controls, and docs.
• Support system implementations, reporting enhancements, and process redesign.
• Identify opportunities to streamline through automation and data analytics.
• Mentor team members and foster accountability and collaboration.
